💡 What Does the Stafford PTA Do?For Students:
  • Hosts fun evening socials like the Fall Social, Winter Formal, and End-of-Year Celebration
  • Organizes educational daytime programs that inspire learning and build life skills
  • Supports environmental initiatives like Clean It and Green It
  • Organizes school dances and spirit-building activities
  • Celebrates creativity and culture through the Reflections Art Contest and Heritage Night
For Our School:
  • Offers mini-grants to teachers for classroom resources
  • Supports Watch D.O.G.S. to increase positive role models on campus
  • Hosts hospitality events, like staff luncheons and Teacher Appreciation Week
  • Organizes fundraisers like Spirit Nights, sports concessions, and the Fall Social
For Our Community:
  • Partners with local businesses for sponsorships and raffles
  • Donates through drives benefiting Frisco Family Services and other local charities
  • 🎓 Awards a minimum of two scholarships to graduating FISD students
  • Awards scholarships and honors with PTA Lifetime Awards

💲 Where Does Your Membership Fee Go?Your annual dues help fund:
  • Student programs, classroom grants, staff appreciation, hospitality, and school activities
  • Advocacy efforts at the local, state, and national levels that shape policies for students, families, and schools

​What does the Texas PTA do?
The Stafford Middle School PTA – as a membership organization – is part of the larger Texas PTA association. The Texas PTA is the largest child advocacy organization in the state, with over 500,000 members. Their mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.  The Texas PTA also recognizes local PTA groups for their effort with awards for membership, communication, advocacy and other categories.
